NBA Odds: Warriors, Clippers Square Off in Western Conference Showdown
Wednesday’s NBA schedule is highlighted by a pair of title contenders that happen to be massive rivals as well. The Golden State Warriors visit the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center for a 10:30 PM ET tip-off.
The Warriors are, by far, the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 119.1 points per game. Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry are both in the top 10 on the scoring charts, and the Warriors as a team are shooting over 38% from three-point land. They also lead the league in point differential at +12.6. If you thought last year’s version was good, this team is even better.
As for the Clippers, they are right behind them in scoring differential at +9.6. They’re averaging 108.7 points per game, which is sixth in the league. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul lead a team where five players are putting up double-digit averages in terms of scoring.
The Clippers have had a good season start, but it will be difficult to measure themselves against Golden State. The Warriors have dominated their rivalry as of late, going 8-2 SU (six straight wins) and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 meetings.
